Winter programme
This winter we are offering a winter instructor training package.
Ideal for people on gap years who want to try something new or people who just fancy a change of career.
During training modules you will have the opportunity to have real client time with real groups/individuals. Ideal for those wanting to progress through the qualification structure and gain vital log book hours.
Training packages can be tailor made to suit your needs. Accommodation, course content, start and finish dates to suit. This also means that individuals can step in and out of different modules as they choose.
The course will give you enough experience and knowledge ideal for starting summer employment in the 2006 season, and there maybe work available to successful candidates at Bala adventure and Watersports centre .
- REC - first aid certificate
- RYA Dingy instructor
- RYA safety boat driver
- Swift water rescue course
- Single pitch climbing award training (assessment dependant on previous experience)
- Canoe and Kayak - level 2 coach (level 3 dependant on previous experience)
- Mountain leader preparation days
- Real teaching opportunity's
There is no previous experience required but it is up to the individual to get logged hours in there own time whilst on the programme to get the most out of this offer.
